Weeks in review

Organizing is a journey, not a destination.

After the Aave V2 wrapper integration, the last action item to successfully complete the Aave migration is the deprecation of V1.

In this post, Treasury League illustrates the roadmap of this initiative, pointing out motivations and solutions.

The formal IIP consists of 9 actions and can be bundled with another 1-task proposal.

Communication & Marketing League launched the Meme contest, with 35 $IDLE as total prize. This is the first of a series of initiatives aiming at combining cleverness and humor, understand the perception of the community on Idle value proposition, and work on the brand.

Leagues published the community resources, collecting visual and text materials that explain Idle protocol and its ecosystem. Check out our AMAs, interviews, blog posts, and workshops, a way to get familiar with Leagues’ team members and read some insights on future products.

Next Steps

Here’re the next steps for the most promising initiatives:

  • Aave v1 snapshot. Signaling poll for voting over Aave v1 deprecation is live for the next 48 hrs: this proposal will enable an improvement of the protocol architecture.

  • stkIDLE voting framework. Proposal for a stkIDLE voting framework (both on and off chain) – looking for community feedback on the specific implementation and parameters. The thread is open for comments!

  • Leagues v2. Leagues’ mandate will conclude in the next few weeks. The committees are working on the retrospective and final report, and will propose to the community how to further improve the next mandates. As an iterative process, the evolution of those subDAOs into solid infrastructure allows the Governance to expand the number of contributors, defining new roles that help current members to become more effective and specialized.
