We cannot be mere consumers of good governance, we must be participants; we must be co-creators.
The last application window has been one of the most prolific that the Leagues system has witnessed so far. The previous Leagues components collected the work related to the task assigned for the Dev League, sharing feedback to help voters to evaluate applications and skills.
With all the info in their hands, token holders selected the contributors that joined the Leagues’ mandate #3 (Treasury, C&M, Dev). We now have seven new contributors are now participating in Leagues’ activities, with the onboarding process essentially completed.
Later on, $IDLE token holders have been expressing their opinion on the Polygon B2B partnership proposal. The Idle Leagues and Polygon team worked together to design an ecosystem expansion program boosted by $650k in $MATIC rewards and $50k in IDLE tokens.
The initiative could represent a unique opportunity to connect two fast-growing communities, and token holders easily reached a consensus on moving forward with this idea. The Temperature Check unanimously approved it.
Here’re the next steps for the most promising initiatives:
IIP-12. The proposal is still pending. Idle successfully removed liquidity from Cream, a mandatory step to finalized the proposal on-chain, but aRAI token on the Aave side is going to be updated. Once the token update is complete, Leagues will submit the on-chain IIP.
Polygon Release. In the next few days, Leagues will release the announcement post to officialize the program launch, communicating also the releasing date. In this period, Leagues will develop the Dune dashboard to track rewards and payments, set up a dedicated Rebalancer, and proceed with Polygon strategies’ full deployment.
