Hello!

This is my first post so I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to put this:

I took this update to mean that, when lending into Idle, it’s possible to earn COMP, but not AAVE, BZRX, or tokens from other protocols. Did I misunderstand that? If not, then what happens to the tokens that are distributed to Idle from those protocols?

Hi @joeshaggs and welcome to the forum.

Currently Idle supports Compound Aave and Dydx (Fulcrum is disabled since last year), when you redeem you will receive COMP tokens directly in your wallet. AAVE liquidity mining program is still not up at the moment

Hi william - Thanks so much! Have a few follow-up questions:

  1. Does Compound also pay COMP on redemption if I were to go there directly or are they continuously paying out COMP?

  2. For AAVE, if I were to directly lend there, I still wouldn’t earn their token because the liquidity mining program is not up yet?

Yes you will get COMP on redeems (and subsequent deposits after the first one)

Yes for the moment you wouldn’t get AAVE even if you deposit on Aave
