B.Protocol is a proxy for Compound that captures liquidations MEV and redistributes it to protocol users. It issued governance token recently and now is running liquidity mining program.
Although they are interested primarily in borrowers and reward them to larger degree, they also reward lenders. So it’s an opportunity for Idle to redeploy Compound allocations to B.Protocol for extra gains.
In terms of risks, B.Protocol (cl)aims to be safe by design: it does not have any control over users’ cTokens or COMP rewards and is a transparent proxy except when it comes to loan liquidations.
